Golfo Aranci is an old fishermen village, which has become a port of certain importance in the zone as well as a touristic destination of the north-east of Sardinia.
Situated on the Capo Figari promontory, between Porto Rotondo (at 10kms) and Olbia (at 15 kms), the city of Golfo Aranci has an exceptional view on the Cala Sassari and on the Figarolo and Tavolara islands.
From Capo Figari, which is a nature reserve, depending more... on the weather, it is possible to see Corsica, especially the cliffs of Bonifacio.
One of the city's strong points is the fact it contains 15 white-sandy beaches bounded by a blue Mediterranean sea, as well as a lot of small evocative creeks; which are not as crowded as those of the Costa Smeralda.
Among all the beaches of Golfo Aranci, the most amazing are : Spiaggia Bianca, that offers a direct view on the Tavolara island, or the beaches of Cala del Sonno, Cala Sabina, Cala Moresca, Cala Greca...
The surroundings of Golfo Aranci invite to do trekking : visit of Capo Figari in bike from Cala Moresca, trekking in Cala Sonno; and the cliffs to do speleology.
Also, the warm and calm waters of Golfo Aranci attract numerous dolphins, that will delight the youngest as well as the oldest!
